PDF Conversion Settings with PDNob - User Guide
PDNob PDF Editor allows you to customize every aspect of PDF conversion. Whether exporting to Word, Excel, images, or PDF/A, you can adjust OCR, layout, format, and quality preferences to align with your workflow. Follow the instructions below to configure each type of conversion efficiently.
- Launch PDNob PDF Editor and select "Open PDF" from the main screen.
- Choose the PDF file from your computer and click "Open" to import it into the workspace.
1. Convert PDF to Word with Settings
- Navigate to the "Convert" tab and select "To Word".
- Click More settings to access additional options.
- Activate OCR for scanned PDFs and select the correct recognition language to enhance text accuracy.
- Click "Apply", then proceed to convert the file.
2. Convert PDF to Excel with Settings
- Open the "Convert" tab and choose "To Excel".
- Click More settings to customize the conversion:
• Conversion mode: choose between a single worksheet or multiple sheets per table
• OCR: enable this option for scanned tables
- Press "Apply" and then "Convert" to start the export.
3. Convert PDF to Image with Settings
- Go to "Convert" and select "To Image".
- Click the More settings icon to refine output options.
- Choose the image format (such as JPG or PNG) and adjust the quality as needed.
- Click "Apply" and start the conversion process.
4. Convert PDF to PDF/A with Settings

- Pick the appropriate PDF/A standard (e.g., PDF/A-1b or PDF/A-2b) according to archiving requirements.
- Click "Apply" and initiate the conversion to complete the process.
