- 01. Crop PDF Pages
- 02. Split PDF Pages
1. Crop a PDF Page
Use the crop tool to remove unnecessary margins or focus on specific areas with precision.
- Open your PDF and go to the Pages tab. Click Crop Page to activate crop mode.
- A crop frame will appear. Drag the edges or corners to select the visible area. You can fine-tune the margins in the settings panel.
- For more precise control, you can:
- Enter exact margin values
- Set custom page dimensions
- Lock proportions to maintain layout consistency
- Select the pages to apply the crop (single page, all pages, or a custom range). You can also target odd or even pages. Click Crop to apply.
Undo Crop
If needed, press Ctrl + Z before saving to undo the crop. Once the PDF is saved, the changes are permanent, so review carefully before closing the file.
2. Split PDF Pages
Break large PDFs into smaller files according to your workflow—by page count, file size, or bookmark structure.
- Go to the Pages tab and click Split to access splitting options.
- Choose how to split the PDF:
- By number of pages
- By file size
- By top-level bookmarks
- You can also customize output file names by adding prefixes or suffixes, numbering sequences, or separators to keep the split files organized.
